Sculpture is a passion and love of mine when I get the time to do it. Here are the projects of recent months

This is a project based on the precedence of, ‘Unique forms of Continuity in Space’ by Umberto Boccioni. My favourite sculpture. The piece is based on a live model over a period of a couple weeks. Naturally the different posses became two figures.

I used steel to divide the pair but also as a structural element to suggest form.

 

The next project was just a practice session on portrait skills in modeling. We had a week of a sitting model.

The following project was a stone carving course to learn a new medium. Trying to let the stone dictate the form. I found this exercise challenging and slow progress. To be continued…..
